This week I used a website calles thesaurus. It is a website where it puts words into something called syminom.
First we write the topic of what you are going to be writing about.
Next we get the words from the website and put them in our google doc.
Lastly I answered my question after each frame.
I enjoyed writing the keywords. What I did well was search the website. I need to improve on is make the topic easy for me to put on the website.
This term we are doing a challenge and the challenge is to create a DLO about Dame whina Cooper.
First we got on the te reo blog post to see what our challenge was.
Next we had to make a google slide and research some facts to put on the google slide
Lastly I put in the dat and birth.
I enjoyed researching facts about Dame cooper. What I did well was put in the information. I need to improve on finding the right information.
This week for inquiry we learned about our ethnicity and our culture.
First we had to mark the country for your ethnicity and culture
Next you write a little bit of your ethnicity and your culture.
Lastly you write about what do you practise at home and what story relates to your culture
I enjoyed writing a little bit of my culture. What I did well was write what story relates to me. What I need to improve on is marking the correct country.
This term we did tumbles to do each learning activitys more fun. we get into groups and we swap stations every 20 minutes.
First we did SSR selfie. SSR selfie is a learning activity to read and explain the fiction and non-fiction books and can be used for homework and at school.
Next we did cloze. Cloze is and writing activity youn write on your book to spell missing words and good hand writing.
Lastly we did fact find. Fact find is when you chose a person and research facts about it.
I enjoyed doing the fact find. What I did well was do the SSR selfie. I need to improve on is my handwriting.
Today we did Kelly sport sand we played ripper rugby with tags.
First we played tag. We had to wear a belt to hold your tags. We run around then court trying to stael the tags of other people.
Next we practised our passing and catching skills.
Lastly we played touch rugby. We have 5 touches and if you lose the 5 touches then its the other persons team ball.
I enjoyed playing tag. What I did well was take the tags off people. I need to improve on throwing the ball.
