For Maths we have been revising on the figure it out – gala. Our school is hosting a gala on the 29th of November to raise school money. My teacher decided to do word problems that relate to the gala.

First I did the previous slide which teach’s us about translation, rotation and reflection. I drew a picture that relates to one of those and I chose reflection.

Next I wrote the answersfor the mystery number. It will tell you an equation and you have to figure it out what the number is and I got them all correct.

Lastly, I had a word problem about food. They are word problems that include to multiplication and subtraction.

I enjoyed doing this task. What I did well was the who am I task. I need to improve on the reflection drawing.

 

For Maths we are revising about the gala. Panmure Bridge School is hosting a gala to raise school money. My Teacher Ms White decided to do word problems that relates to the gala.

First I continued the 8th slide with a new partner named Angie. We  worked out the first slide which was kind of hard. We have to figure out how many boxes for each ingredient to make fudge cakes. Onced I figured out the answer I had to guess how many fudge cakes are sliced which was easy.

Next I did the last slide which was to make your own box. I used paper, a ruler, a pen and tape. First I had to draw my box. I had to do 4 boxes tall and 3 boxes wide. Next step was to cut them out and fold them. The last step was to glue them together and design it.

Lastly I checked with my teacher and I blogged it.

I enjoyed doing this task. What I did well was the box. I need to improve on multiplying the fudge cakes.
